Yap Community Board
The current Yap Board of Directors reflects the communities of the outer islands of Yap. Each member represents a different island group ensuring that each outer island community is represented on the board. Because of cultural considerations the board is entirely male, but each will work with female representatives from each island group to develop health projects.Currently on Yap Proper Oceania Community Health is working closely with the Yap Department of Health Services to serve the communities of Yap Proper. As the communities of Yap Proper ask for assistance from Oceania Community Health additional board seats will be created.
